Identify decaying pages (and the exact keywords causing the loss, if provided).
Pages.csv file here.To see which keywords caused this decay, enter your exact GSC Property ID. We will generate direct deep-links that automatically filter your GSC dashboard to the decaying page and comparison view.

Buy me a coffeeContent decay is when a page that used to perform well in search gradually loses clicks — often because the content has gone stale, a competitor published something better, or the search intent behind the query shifted. This tool takes a period-over-period Google Search Console comparison export and rolls it up by page (or by query, if no page column is present), triaging every target into Severe Decay, Moderate, Stagnant, or Growing based on both the raw click loss and the percentage change.
Where a Query column is present, decaying pages get an expandable "View Lost Keywords" breakdown showing exactly which search terms are behind the loss — the keywords worth doubling down on when rewriting. Where it isn't (a standard GSC export), enter your Property ID to get a direct deep-link into GSC's own dashboard, pre-filtered to that page and comparison period. Export a prioritised rewrite action list once you're ready to work through it.
Yes, completely free with no account or usage limit.
Severe requires losing at least 10 clicks and at least a 15% drop versus the previous period. Moderate requires losing more than 5 clicks and more than a 5% drop. Anything gaining more than 10 clicks and 5% is marked Growing; everything else is Stagnant. Both the raw number and the percentage need to cross the threshold, so a small page losing 100% of a tiny click count isn't automatically flagged Severe.
The tool still works — it rolls up decay by page instead of by query, and shows a warning that the keyword drilldown is unavailable for that upload. Enter your GSC Property ID in the box that appears and you'll get a direct link into your live GSC dashboard, pre-filtered to that page, so you can look the keywords up manually.
Some exports (particularly from Looker Studio) only include a percentage change column, not the actual previous-period click count. When that happens, the tool works backwards from the current clicks and the percentage to estimate the previous figure. It's arithmetically sound given the data provided, but any rounding already present in the source percentage carries through, so treat the reconstructed previous-clicks figure as a close estimate rather than an exact one.
No. The CSV is parsed and analysed entirely in your browser using PapaParse — nothing is sent to a server.
One row per decaying page (Severe or Moderate only), with its severity, total clicks lost, and either its top three lost keywords to prioritise (if query data was available) or a direct GSC deep-link (if it wasn't) — plus a blank "Action Required" column for whoever's doing the rewrite to fill in.
