If it saved you some time, consider buying me a coffee to support future updates.
Buy me a coffeeQuickFav generates a simple favicon — the small icon browsers show in tabs and bookmarks — without needing a design tool. Choose a shape (square, rounded, or circle), a solid colour or gradient background, and either custom text (up to two characters), an emoji, or your own uploaded image, then download the result as a 32×32 PNG.
Uploading an image? Any common format works — PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF, or BMP. It's automatically cropped to a square and clipped to whichever shape you've picked, so a rectangular logo or photo still comes out as a clean circle or rounded icon if that's the style you're after.
You're not limited to a single 32×32 file either. Tick any combination of the standard sizes — 16×16, 32×32, 48×48, 180×180 (Apple touch icon), 192×192 and 512×512 (Android/PWA) — and each one is rendered fresh at full resolution, not just scaled up from the preview. Pick one size for a single PNG, or several for a ZIP with all the correctly-named files ready to drop straight into your site.
It's built for the "I just need a quick placeholder icon" moment: side projects, prototypes, internal tools, or a temporary favicon while a proper brand icon is being designed. Everything renders live on a canvas as you adjust the options, and nothing is uploaded — it's generated and downloaded entirely in your browser.

A 32×32 PNG, which covers the standard favicon size used by most browsers. For a full favicon set (multiple sizes, .ico format, Apple touch icons), you'll want a dedicated favicon-generator service, but 32×32 PNG covers the vast majority of everyday use.

No. Everything — including any image you upload — is rendered locally on an HTML canvas in your browser and never sent to a server.
Yes — tick any combination of the six standard sizes (16×16 up to 512×512). One size downloads as a single PNG; multiple sizes download as a ZIP with each file already correctly named for use as favicons, an Apple touch icon, or Android/PWA icons.
